Elk and Mia

Hah, I love these two :3 Elk is sooo cute <3 I love this type of Wavemaster design (don't like Wiseman's as much)! To name people with this design, it'd be Elk/Tsukasa. They are NOT the same person.
Elk and Mia from the .hack games! Two of my favorite people, even though I just beat Macha. >_> Poor Elky.. *pat pat*
Elk is a wavemaster, Mia is a blademaster. Mia is an edited character (you are not able to look like a cat). She IS supposed to be a cat person, but those ears look like a rabbit's. >_>
So for my reference, I started by using the cover of the third game, Outbreak. It worked for a while..then as I got farther down on Mia I realized I could barely see her leggings and could not see her shoes. >_> Then remembered the Liminality DVDs had character profiles, ahh saved me! XD So yes, this is pretty much exactly them..except for Elk's staff, I didn't wanna cover up Mia's breastplate after I spent time making it look just right, so I made his staff smaller and played with the design a bit... But its pretty much the same, just less complicated, and not as cool. ._.
In one of the root towns, theres random puffs of clouds going by (think its Theta server, Dun Lorieag or something) so I put that there. I couldn't draw Elk's shoes (oh yes, could do all that other detail but not his SHOOOES) so I covered them. Same with Mia's other gauntlet. I realized a flaw in their positioning and couldn't fix it.
Mia was so hard to do, I've never really drawn animal people. So I had lots of trouble with her head, mostly the mouth. It looks crappy, I know. Elk was pretty easy, just took some time. Mia's armour took forever, all those lines are connected yknow. I had to kinda do her legs over since I saw I was pretty off from the actual thing. (Elk's staff was covering her on the cover art! >_< ) I had trouble with her arms, too, they have this big puff under the shoulder pad. And then her arm is thin with a big fat gauntlet.
Lastly, for once I shall put no critique. I worked pretty hard on this and I'm perfectly aware of its numerous flaws ;;=_=

PLEASE read this at LEAST! I've noticed the differences in my pictures from computer to the Mac, so please tell me how well this shows up. It looks perfectly fine on this screen, but on the Mac it usually looks a lot fainter.
